We enjoyed working with VPCH. When we made the decision to build a custom home, we knew it would be imperative for us to find a contractor with tremendous attention to detail. Tripp met all of our expectations. The sub-contractors were diligent workers with tremendous pride in their finished product.
The construction of our house included many energy conservation amenities. With today’s higher energy costs those incremental costs have been recovered. We have lived in our house for 12 years, and we enjoy it as much today, as when we first moved in.
Tripp was not only our contractor, but became a friend and we would absolutely consult with VPCH on future projects.

A difficult aspect of our project was that we were living offsite and had to do most everything via email and phone and texts. We needed a builder who would respond to this manner of communication. We needed a builder with integrity as we were trusting the process to him almost entirely. There was only one on sight visit during the entire 7 month project. We needed a builder who we could trust to make decisions and advise us in a manner consistent with our vision. He did just that… He truly listened to us and heard what we were saying.
VPCH worked tirelessly with us to keep new finishes consistent with the old parts of the home…We found 100 year old heartland pine flooring under (existing) wall to wall carpet, but much of it was damaged. He cut and pasted to make one complete room of it. He pointed out many ways to save energy and did a very thorough energy audit. We are reaping the benefits of these now.
In a nutshell, Tripp is honest, hardworking, listens to his customers and executes what they want, while issuing helpful suggestions. He is kind and gentle to work with, not abrasive and has impeccable taste. He communicates in a timely fashion and in 21st century fashion. We LOVE the finished product and would use VPCH again and have referred him to friends.
We have one regret…we did not do as Tripp repeatedly and kindly suggested and raise the windows in the south facing living/dining area…He was right! We should have…
